That Brief Shining Moment When Non-Bender Oppression Was Actually Acknowledged And Korra Had Her Views Challenged For About Five Seconds Before Going Away And Never Being Brought Up Again

One of my many issues with LoK, was romance so important that the actual plot needed to be cut? I wanted to see this resolved, I want to see benders acknowledge their advantages and for Korra to stop ignoring it. And I wish she had been without her bending for a while longer, so that she could learn that she wasn’t worthless without it, she was still the Avatar without it. I wanted Asami to be her friend, her real friend and to help Korra realize that she can be a kickass bitch without bending. She could have come to terms with the fact her life wasn’t over just because she couldn’t bend the other three elements and started helping people and making a difference anyway…….and then…..got her bending back. 

Korra had little development, almost none, she’s naive and ignorant as shit and I love her, I love her and wish that they would do her character more justice. She was practically given her bending back ~ala Sailormoon style~  (don’t even get me started on WhiteKnight Mako)
