You mentioned that you don't use heat styling tools, so does that mean your let your hair air dry? Regardless your hair is absolutely fabulous(:

Yes, I always let my hair air dry, whether it’s in curlers or braids or just down. The only time my hair gets near a blowdryer is when I’m getting my hair cut/styled, as I did today. ♡

I checked your hair FAQ, and I may have missed it, but I didn't see anything about styling products you use. Your hair always looks so soft and fluffy when you style it. The hair sprays I've tried all make my hair look wet, crunchy, or a mixture of the two. What hairspray/other product do you use for your styling? Feel free to ignore this if it's been answered! :3

My favourite hairspray is got2b’s 2 Sexy Voluptuous Volume Hairspray! It’s my tried and true golden can of magic. I love it.

I love your hair here! I can't seem to be able to do victory rolls. Any tips?

Victory rolls are easiest to do if you have medium length and thick hair. I have long, thin hair, so it takes quite a bit of work, but as you can see it’s doable. I suggest curling your hair prior to starting out, either with rollers or a curling or straightening iron. It’ll be even easier to style if your hair is dirty. Don’t expect them to look great the first time, generally you might have to style each roll more than once to get it to look right, and then you’ll have to play with it and pin it until it’s suited to your tastes. There are lots of really fabulous tutorials on youtube so I suggest taking a quick peek there as well.

I know how annoying it must be to get hair questions all the time but I've tried asking other sources and I'm just really in need of direction, and your hair gives me inspiration to deal with mine... but I just bleached my hair and am gonna dye it a light turquoise, would you happen to know how many parts conditioner and how many parts hair dye you use? I would really appreciate it so much!

I, like many other girls, do not have a specific recipe! And that’s how it should be. I eyeball it every time. Pour lots of conditioner or toner in a bowl, and add little bits of dye and mix them in. Do that until you get the colour you want! It’s really not rocket science. :)

when you dye your hair, do you dye the whole lot or just the roots? and does the color hold well?
Anonymous

Generally I just do the roots! My hair is perma-pink, the two-three months I go between bleaching my hair I don’t dye my hair pink at all and the colour never wanes or fades. To be honest I’m not sure if I could really get rid of it if I wanted to.

Please don't be grumpy at me for asking a hair related question but it's not in your FAQ...
How many jars of special effects/manic panic does it take to do the whole length of your hair? Manic panic jars are so tiny!

Do you use lots and lots of hair dye or do you mix it with conditioner to make it last longer?
Anonymous

I definitely mix it with conditioner sweets! It takes me quite some time to use up a whole jar of dye.

"expensive conditioner and detanglers and protectants." you've told us a million times before that there's no miracle product, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WOMAN; whatever product you are using is WORKING.
please recommended/tell us whichever conditioner/protectants are working so amazingly.

Here’s the deal.

I would never, EVER, tell you to buy a product unless I was satisfied with the results it produced. In the past I have recommended products- got2B’s Sexy Voluptuous Volume Hairspray, Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara, as well as different makeup and skincare lines. I feel good recommending these products because I’ve bought them more than once, and they haven’t let me down.

I don’t feel comfortable telling you the products I use, because

1). I rarely use the same products from one day to the next

2). I have never liked a product enough to buy it again

If I DO find a product I like, I am quick to share it with all of my followers, because I genuinely want them to reap the benefits I have discovered. I know a lot of girls struggle with dry, damaged hair as I do, so I want to help this community of girls through my personal experience. It would not benefit these girls to tell them to buy products just because I buy them. It would benefit them to inform them on products that I have been impressed with.

I hope that clears things up a little.

This is how my hair looked immediately after removing the Curlformers. It is probably worth mentioning that they did not stay this nice for long.
I have mixed feelings about them. I don’t know. I need to go pick up another pack so that I have the proper sizes for my hair and then I will write a proper review.

Curlformers. I feel like Medusa with these things in! I wish I could say they are comfortable but so far, no, no no no. I haven’t even slept in them yet and I feel that way.
Also, if you have hair longer than 21 inches you ABSOLUTELY will need to get the Extra Long and Wide ones. I learned this the hard way. I’m going to have to pick up a few more packs.
I bought the Salon Kit, which was a bit pricey so I’m not sure if I recommend it yet. I’ll let you guys know tomorrow!

I wonder if a day will come where someone doesn’t ask me what dye I use, and ‘how I keep it so nice’.

Guess what? There is NO super secret special product. It just doesn’t exist. No, I’m not being a bitch, I get asked about my hair four or five times every day. My hair is in such good condition because I take ridiculously good care of it, and I devote a good deal of time to it. I get it cut on the regular and I spend a lot of money on expensive conditioner and detanglers and protectants. I use as little heat products as possible. My hair is 100% mine, and I have never worn extensions. And even with all of that, I still experience an incredible amount of breakage and hair loss.
Another thing you need to keep in mind is that my natural hair colour is blonde. This means my hair is already blonde before I bleach it.

My colour is Special Effects Atomic Pink mixed with Manic Panic Blue.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s worth it to me. But before you drill me about my hair colour, maybe you should consider the amount of work that is involved. Long hair is hard enough to deal with, let alone long hair that has had the life bleached out of it.
You know I love you all, but the hair questions get tedious after awhile.

There is now a HAIR FAQ tag. It can be found on the info bar of my main page.
